Introduction to Computer Architecture

Requirements

1.  Browse the programs of recent CCF A conferences in the area of computer architecture, computer network, and network security;
2.  Find a research topic you are interested in;
3.  Read two or three latest papers on the topic;
4.  Write a review of the papers: 3-4 A4 pages in 11th Times New Roman fond with a 1.5 line space, including an abstract of 150-200 words;
5.  Prepare a presentation of the review: 25-30 pages PPT, about 20 minutes.
Notes: 
 
The review does not have to be computer architecture related. You are also encouraged to explore exciting topics on RFID, Internet of Things (IoT), and Software-Defined Networking (SDN).
The review should cover:
1) What is the research problem?
2) Why is it important?
3) How does the state of the art address it?
4) Any limitations?
5) What would you do? Learn from Research Patterns by Prof. Nick Feamster from Georgia Tech.

Grading: bonus 5%
